French vowels are pure, not gliding like English ones. 'Beau' is one clean sound, not 'bee-oh'. Practising vowels like 'u' (as in 'tu', made with rounded lips) improves clarity fast.

A statement said with rising pitch at the end becomes a question: 'Tu aimes le foot?' (Do you like football?) can be spoken with the same words as a statement, just with rising intonation.
