Start with subject-verb-object: 'J'habite à Londres' (I live in London), 'Je mange une pomme' (I eat an apple). Short, correct sentences build a reliable foundation before adding complexity.

Before writing more, check spelling, accents and verb endings on short sentences. 'Il joue au foot' needs the correct accent-free spelling and the right verb ending -e for 'il' (he).
